How lovely it is to see the globe, constructed by my father and his students, is still there in the grounds at Kagumo. I was fortunate to be given a tour of the College when I visited in 1991, and made a point of seeing it then. My father was Ronald Walmsley, and he taught at Kagumo between 1962 and 1964. The globe was constructed, with Kagumo at the top, to demonstrate the way the sun rises and sets at that point on the earth. Jim Walmsley
