Work Work Work
Have
you been wondering what happened the county assembly? For over three
months now the MCAs have not been conducting the business they were
elected for stalling many legislative duties. The leaders have been on
strike demanding higher pay. Prompting our today's question, when
leaders seek those political seats, is it about money or serving their
people? Three months is a long time to stage a strike.
The first phase of the county assembly was characterized by political
supremacy wrangles and political sideshows that yielded absolutely
nothing to the local Nyerians. The recent forged unity between the
governor and the MCAs is a good move but it can only be better if these
leaders work for Nyeri county. Issues of the dwindling education
performance, insecurity, joblessness, coffee and tea marketing, roads
and many other issues in our county
